Precautions before installation

Install a Vent/Drain valve at the housing outlet to prevent integrity failure potentially caused by back pressure.

Re-inspect all cartridge gaskets to ensure they are properly seated and in good condition for optimal sealing.

If a single filtration cycle does not exhaust the filter cartridge's lifespan, do not remove it from the housing for storage.

Instead, follow these steps to store the used cartridge inside the housing:

Shutdown Procedure: After completing the filtration cycle, sterilize the filter cartridge using the same sterilization method as during cartridge preparation.

Storage: Drain the filter housing. While the housing is still warm, apply 2 psi of gas pressure to prevent vacuum formation upon cooling. Subsequently, close all ports.

Restart: When restarting the filtration cycle, repeat the sterilization procedure following the standard cartridge preparation protocol.
