Working Principle
The connection of a stainless steel slip-on flange is achieved through "double-sided fillet welding"
Insertion: Insert the pipe into the inner diameter of the SS SO Flange.
Positioning: The pipe end is typically recessed into the stainless steel flange sealing face (neck top) by approximately one pipe wall thickness.
Welding:
Outer side welding: Perform a circumferential fillet weld at the junction of the flange neck and the pipe.
Inner side welding: Perform a bottom sealing weld at the pipe end inside the flange (depending on pressure requirements).
Sealing: Tighten the bolts to compress the gasket between the two flange faces, achieving a sealing effect.
