Sanitary diaphragm valves consist of a valve body with two or more ports, an elastic diaphragm, and a “weir or saddle” or valve seat upon which the diaphragm closes the valve.

They provide both body seal and seat seal, ensuring complete isolation from the external environment. Operable manually or pneumatically, the valve body is constructed from 316L stainless steel and can be configured with an automatic valve positioner. 

These valves are particularly suitable for sterile processes in the biopharmaceutical industry.
